• Christ and Church Life and Building Spirit and Bride

As a lover of Christ and a pursuer of truth, I write down my joys, memories and reflections.

May God lead us all into the secret of His presence, and build us into the oneness of His body in love.

Hymn #437- One of my favorite

Hast thou heard Him, seen Him, known Him?

Is not thine a captured heart?

Chief among ten thousand own Him:

Joyful choose the better part.

Captivated by His beauty,

Worthy tribute haste to bring:

Let His peerless worth constrain thee.

Crown Him now unrivaled King.

‘Tis the look that melted Peter.

‘Tis that face that Stephen saw.

‘Tis that heart that wept with Mary,

Can alone from idols draw:

I like this hymn because it shows how the Lord once captured our heart with His love, beauty and majesty.

Non-Christians may wonder why we are seemingly crazy and mysterious in loving and serving the Lord.

We also wonder how can anyone not burning for the Lord if he or she has tasted and enjoyed the Lord in an real and intimate way.

Once we touch the Lord, we know He is real, and living, and worthy.

Once we taste Him, we know He is sweet, loving, and enjoyable.

Once we see Him and hear Him, we know He is experience-able, tangible, and approachable.

Once we know Him, we know He is such a wonderful person, a wise counselor, and the mighty God.

Once we develop an intimate relationship with the Lord, we know He is precious, faithful and glorious.

Mathew 26:75 And Peter remembered the word which Jesus had said, Before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times. And he went out and wept bitterly.

Acts 7:55-56 But being full of the Holy Spirit, he looked intently into heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; And he said, Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.

John 11:31-35 Then Mary, when she came to where Jesus was, saw Him and fell at His feet, saying to Him, Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. Then Jesus, when He saw her weeping and the Jews who came with her weeping, was moved with indignation in His spirit and was troubled, And He said, Where have you put him? They said to Him, Lord, come and see. Jesus wept.

Lord! I love You.

You are the worthy and peerless One.

You are the unraveled and glorious King.

You are the most desired and the ultimate satisfaction.
