• Christ and Church Life and Building Spirit and Bride

    As a lover of Christ and a pursuer of truth, I write down my joys, memories and reflections.

    May God lead us all into the secret of His presence, and build us into the oneness of His body in love.

A poem on the parables of vine and branches

God is the Spirit.
In creation, God extended Himself
By breathing a human spirit into man,
through which man may contact God.

Since the beginning,
The divine Spirit and the human spirit are of one.
God is intemately part of men
And men are part of Him.
Now and forever He is with men.

Indeed God is in all and through all,
All things have been created through Him and unto Him.
He is before all things, and all things cohere in Him.

The closest place to find God is within human spirit,
in which the highest wisdom hides.

How profound is the parable of the vine!
God as Spirit is the sole and true Vine.
Human spirits are the extended branches.

As God’s masterpiece,
Men are at the center of the universe;
Time and space exists for men to traverse and sojourn.
Oh! What is man, that You bring him to mind?
Or the son of man, that You care for him?

In God the real and invisible life resides.
The branches bud in one spring,
blossom in summer
And then wither in winter;
The vine stays alive.
Men lives according to their years and sleeps;
The years of God will not fall.
Civilizations thrives and faded away;
God is the same.
The earth and the heavens will perish;
God remains perpetually.
For God is the beginning and the end.

Men who abide in God is life
Men who do not abide in God is death.
When men touches God,
Exulting joy bubbles up within us.
When men are filled and befriended God,
Emptiness and loneliness are swept away.
When men know God,
Humility is displayed with knowledge-surpassing peace.
When men connect to God,
Divine knowledge is shared between God and men.

In the end, all reasons and answers point to God.
All love, life, light, righteousness stem from God.
Great is the mystery of Godliness:
He who was manifested in the flesh.
The end is God and men as mutual abode,
The joining and mingling of divinity and humanity,
Men as the extension, manifestation, and magnification of God,
Christ as the loving bridegroom and the church as the mature bride,
And the consummation is the built New Jerusalem.

May Your will be done!
