閒話漏掉生命

以賽亞書

29:24 靈裡迷糊的必得明白,發怨言的必受訓誨。
And those who have erred in spirit will come to understand, And the murmurers will learn teaching.
箴言

13:3 謹守口的,得保生命;大張嘴的,必致敗亡。
15:4 溫良的舌,是生命樹;乖謬的嘴,使人心碎。
16:27 卑劣之徒挖出奸惡,嘴上仿佛有燒焦的火。乖僻的人播散紛爭,傳閑話的人離間密友。
A worthless man digs up evil, And on his lips there is a scorching fire. A perverse man spreads strife, And a whisperer separates close friends.
18:6-8 愚昧人的嘴帶來爭端,他的口招惹鞭打。愚昧人的口自取敗壞,他的嘴是他生命的網羅。傳閑話之人的言語如同美食,進入人的深處。
A fool’s lips bring strife, And his mouth invites blows. A fool\’s mouth is his ruin, And his lips are the snare of his soul. The words of a whisperer are like dainty morsels, And they go down into the innermost parts of the body.
20:19 往來傳閑話的,泄漏秘密,所以大張嘴的,不可與他結交。
He who goes about as a gossip reveals secrets; Therefore do not associate with one who opens his lips wide.

26:17-28 過路的人干涉與自己無關的紛爭,就像人揪狗的耳朵。人欺哄鄰舍,卻說,我豈不是戲耍麼?他就像瘋狂的人拋擲火把、利箭與死亡。缺了柴,火就熄滅;沒有傳閑話的人,爭論便止息。好紛爭的人煽動爭競,就如余燼加炭,火上加柴一樣。傳閑話之人的言語如同美食,進入人的深處。火熱的嘴,奸惡的心,好像包了銀渣的瓦器。怨恨人的,用嘴掩飾,心裡卻存著詭詐,他的言語雖然動聽,你不可信他,因為他心中有七樣可憎惡的。他雖用詭詐遮掩自己的怨恨,他的邪惡必在會中顯露。挖陷坑的,自己必掉在其中;輥石頭的,石頭必反輥在他身上。虛謊的舌恨自己所壓傷的人,諂媚的口造成毀壞的事。
He who passes by and meddles with strife that does not belong to him, Is like one who takes a dog by the ears. Like a madman who shoots firebrands, arrows, and death, So is the man who deceives his neighbor, And says, Was I not joking? For lack of wood the fire goes out, And where there is no whisperer, contention quiets down. As charcoal to hot embers and wood to fire, So is a contentious man to kindle strife. The words of a whisperer are like dainty morsels, And they go down into the innermost parts of the inner being. Burning lips and a wicked heart Are like an earthen vessel overlaid with silver dross. He who hates disguises it with his lips, But he lays up deceit within him; When he speaks graciously, do not believe him; For there are seven abominations in his heart; Though his hatred covers itself with guile, His wickedness will be revealed before the assembly. Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone, it will come back on him. A lying tongue hates those it crushes, And a flattering mouth works ruin.

Offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man, out of his good treasure, brings forth good things, and the evil man, out of his evil treasure, brings forth evil things. 哥林多前書-1 Corinthians

10:10 你們也不要發怨言,像他們有些人發的,就被滅命的所滅。
Neither murmur, just as some of them murmured and perished by the destroyer.

以弗所書-Ephesians

4:29敗壞的話一句都不可出口,隻要按需要說建造人的好話,好將恩典供給聽見的人。
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but only that which is good for building up, according to the need, that it may give grace to those who hear.
5:4 還有淫辭、妄語、或是粗鄙的戲言,都不相宜,寧可說感謝的話。
And obscenity and foolish talking or sly, filthy jesting, which are not becoming, but rather the giving of thanks.

提摩太前書-1 Timothy

1:6 有人失去目標,偏離這些,轉向虛空的談論,
From which things some, having misaimed, have turned aside to vain talking,
3:11女人也是如此,必須庄重,不說讒言,節制適度,凡事忠信。提摩太啊,你要保守所托付你的,避開世俗的空談,和那些冒稱知識的反論;
Women similarly must be grave, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things. O Timothy, guard the deposit, turning away from profane, vain babblings and oppositions from what is falsely called knowledge,

提摩太后書-2 Timothy

2:16-17 但要遠避世俗的空談,因為這些空談必進而成為更不敬虔。他們的話必像毒瘡蔓衍;其中有許米乃和腓理徒,
But avoid profane, vain babblings, for they will advance to more ungodliness, And their word will spread like gangrene, of whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus,

雅各書-James

3:2 我们在许多事上都有过失,若有人在话语上没有过失,他就是完全人,也能勒住全身。
For in many things we all stumble. If anyone does not stumble in word, this one is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well.
3:5-11 舌頭也是這樣,雖是個小肢體,卻能說夸大的話。看哪,多麼小的火,能點著多麼大的樹林。舌頭就是火,在我們百體中,是個不義的世界,污穢全身,也把生命的輪子點起來,且是給火坑的火點著的。原來各類走獸、飛禽、爬物和水族的性情,都可以制伏,也已經被人的性情制伏了;惟獨舌頭沒有人能制伏,是不止息的惡物,滿了致死的毒氣。我們用舌頭頌贊那為主為父的,又用舌頭咒詛那照著神樣式受造的人。頌贊和咒詛從同一個口裡出來,我的弟兄們,這是不應當的。泉源從同一個眼裡能涌出甜水和苦水麼?
So also the tongue is a little member yet boasts great things. Behold, how great a forest so little a fire ignites! And the tongue is a fire; the very world of unrighteousness, the tongue is set among our members as that which contaminates the whole body and sets on fire the course of life and is set on fire by Gehenna.For every nature, both of beasts and of birds, both of reptiles and of creatures of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by the human nature; But the tongue no one among men is able to tame; it is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made according to the likeness of God. Out of the same mouth come forth blessing and cursing. These things, my brothers, ought not to be so. Does the spring, out of the same opening, gush forth the sweet and the bitter?

彼得前書 1Peter

4:9 你們要互相款待,不發怨言;
Be hospitable to one another without murmuring,


盛水的器皿如果有一個洞,牠裏面的水就要漏掉;這不是有水沒有水的問題,乃是漏不漏的問題。有的弟兄姊妹,在主面前很追求要認識十字架,有的時候也肯背十字架,這樣的人,按說應當滿有生命。但是,希奇得很,有時一個有追求、有羨慕、並且肯背十字架的人,在他身上竟然摸不著生命;你所碰著的,反而是死亡。原因在那裏呢?原因是在他所得著的生命被他自己漏掉了。 這句話給我們看見一件事,就是一個追求主的人,一個得著生命同時也要用生命來供應教會的人,必須謹慎言語。言語一不謹慎,生命就要漏掉。有的人在神手裏為甚麼沒有多大用處?因為他把生命漏掉了。你在他身上隻摸著死亡,摸不著生命,就是因為他從言語裏面把生命漏掉了。所以,我們在主面前要守住自己的口,並且要嚴嚴的守住。許多的故事能告訴我們,沒有一件東西叫我們的生命漏掉像閒話那樣厲害。除了罪之外,最叫我們的生命消失的,就是我們的閒話。這裏是不是說凡人所說的污穢的話?不是。是不是說凡人所說毀謗的話?不是。是不是說凡人所說的惡言?不是。這裏是說,凡人所說的『閒話。』閒話,就是多餘的話、不相干的話、不必說的話、播弄是非的話。閒話,『當審判的日子,必要句句供出來。因為要憑你的話,定你為義,也要憑你的話,定你有罪。』這是主耶穌說的。我們要看見,不隻說毀謗的話是嚴重的,就是隨便說話也是嚴重的;不隻說污穢的話是嚴重的,就是說閒話也是嚴重的。我們要看見,有的東西,有的罪,我們有方法賠償,但是,有的東西,有的罪,是沒有方法賠償的。閒話得罪了人,就是沒有方法賠償的。你能去向人認罪,你也能對人說把自己的話收回,但是聲音已經到了別人裏面是不能收回的。偷人的東西能賠償,但是閒話得罪了人沒有方法賠償。這一個罪要擺在神面前,所以主說,『凡人所說的閒話,在審判的日子,必要句句供出來。因為要憑你的話,定你為義,也要憑你的話,定你有罪。』

溫良,就是不發熱,就是緩和、適度。人說話多了,舌頭就發熱;舌頭熱了,就沒有生命樹。溫良的舌是生命樹。溫良的舌頭,是不急躁的舌頭,不糊塗的舌頭,不多話的舌頭。這樣的舌頭,纔能像生命樹一樣。一個喜歡說閒話的基督徒,從他身上就聞不到基督的味道。喜歡說閒話的人,是不能有生命供應人的。閒話是一個大漏洞,閒話要把你的生命漏掉了。

閒話是生命的漏洞,那怎麼辦呢?我們要守住口,就先要對付心。主說,『因為心裏所充滿的,口裏就說出來。』(太十二34。)是心裏有這樣東西,口裏纔說出來。你心裏有這樣東西,你口裏遲早要說兩句。在這裏不說,到那裏要說;在這一家不說,到那一家要說。心裏所充滿的,口裏就說出來。所以你在神面前要學習不說閒話,就要從心裏對付起。你的心如果不對付,你的口永遠對付不好。因為心裏充滿了各種各樣的東西,然後口裏纔有這許多東西說出來。我們千萬不要說,我這一個人是有口無心的。從主耶穌所說的話看來,沒有這件事。有口就有這一個心。是因為你的心,所以口纔這樣。所以要對付閒話,就必須先對付心。

保羅因為在哥林多的弟兄出了問題,就勸他們說,『…你們都說一樣的話。』怎麼能說一樣的話呢?底下接著說,『隻要一心一意彼此相合。』(林前一10。)教會的生命也像個人的生命一樣,個人的生命能因閒話而漏掉,教會的生命也能因閒話而漏掉。我們因著生命是一個,就要一心一意;能一心一意,就能說同樣的話,而不說閒話了。要對付閒話,就得先對付心。

雅各書三章十一節說,『泉源從一個眼裏能發出甜苦兩樣的水麼?』如果一個泉源不能發出兩種的水,那麼一個口裏也不能說出兩種的話來。一個泉源隻能發出一種水,一個口也隻能說出一種話。對於閒話,我們在主面前要專一的對付。因為這一個漏洞如果不塞住,不應當進來的那一邊一直倒進來,不應當流出去的這一邊一直流出去,這個虧損是無法計算的。所以總得把這一個漏洞塞住。我們要求主說,『主,對付我的口,叫我因著你的恩典能蒙保守。』

你不隻要對付你自己的口,也要對付別人的口。甚麼人喜歡說閒話,喜歡說長道短,喜歡播弄是非,你就要幫助他。有的人到你那裏就是要說許多的閒話,你就不給他起頭。你可以對他說,『弟兄,我們禱告。』你不讓他說閒話,你帶著他禱告,或者彼此背聖經節,你把他引到正當的路上去。更直一點可以說,『弟兄,我們要學習說造就人的話,閒話還是不說的好。』

我們如果要作一個塞漏洞的人,就要求神先拯救我們脫離好奇心,學習敬畏神。許多基督徒有好奇心,他喜歡聽新奇甚至污穢的故事,我們如果蒙拯救,脫離這一個,就能少犯許多罪。我們如果耳朵不發癢,不給人有說閒話的機會,我們就能在神面前保守自己的口不漏掉生命,同時也能幫助別人塞住漏洞。我們要求神拯救我們脫離叫生命漏掉的閒話。除了罪之外,惟一叫生命漏掉的就是閒話。我們如果能在話語上蒙保守,就能不叫生命漏掉。
