• Christ and Church Life and Building Spirit and Bride

As a lover of Christ and a pursuer of truth, I write down my joys, memories and reflections.

May God lead us all into the secret of His presence, and build us into the oneness of His body in love.

Some points on prayer

  1. Confession: Before going to the Lord’s presence, we need to clean our conscience by confessing and by applying His precious blood. Praise Him for His efficacious blood!
  2. Presence: Prayer is simply turning and contacting Him, going to and staying in His presence, having fellowship with Him. Our Lord is real and living, right now in our spirits!
  3. Listening: We need to listen to the Lord’s speaking and teaching in His presence. Our Lord is living and speaking!
  4. Receiving grace and mercy: In His presence, we receive mercy and grace. In His presence, we are shepherded, cherished, nourished and encouraged. Praise Him for His mercy and grace!
  5. Shining and dealing: In our fellowship with the Lord, He would expose us with His light, touch the hardness of our heart, break our outer man, and deal our innermost defects and pecularities. Praise the Lord that He hasn’t given us up!
  6. Requesting and interceding: In our prayer to and fellowship with Him, we touch His heart and align our will with His will, then we offer prayer, requests, and intercession according to His perfect and pure will. This is the highest prayer.
  7. Submission: In the Lord’s presence, we need to learn to be obedient and submissive for this is the only way to please Him. The Lord doesn’t push or force us, but we need to learn to submit to Him.
  8. Dispensing: In our contacting and fellowship with Him, He is able to dispense His divine life along with His divine attributes and elements into our being, transforming and renewing our inner parts. This is why we need to go to Him every day. The meaning of our time is measured not by our outward activities, but by out inward abiding in Him.
