• Christ and Church Life and Building Spirit and Bride

As a lover of Christ and a pursuer of truth, I write down my joys, memories and reflections.

May God lead us all into the secret of His presence, and build us into the oneness of His body in love.

The effect of seeing the vision

The heavenly vision is quite important to a Christian and his or her church life. One who sees the heavenly vision should have a definite, discernible, and tangible effect on one’s speaking and living.

  • The vision keeps us runing and pursuing.
  • The vision keeps the oneness and the one accord.
  • The vision governs and constraints.
  • The vision brings forth a certain kind of living.

So what is this vision? Actually a vision is a vision, a scenery, and a wholistic view. But it may take various aspects or perspectives to describe this vision. But once one sees it, it becomes clear.

  • If it were one word, it would be God’s economy, or the New Jerusalem.
  • If it were two words, it would be Christ and the church.
  • If it were four words, it would be Christ, Spirit, life, and church.
  • If it were one sentence, it would be
    • God became a Man so men may become God in life and nature but not in the Godhead.
    • Christ is the mystery of God, expressing the invisible God. The church in the mystery of Christ, expressing the invisible Christ.
    • Christ is the first God-Man, the mingling of divinity and humanity. The church is the extension and magnification of this mingling. This mingling is consummated in the New Jerusalem as one entitiy.

What is the effect of the seeing the vision?

  1. We would see that God only finds delight in His Son, Christ Jesus. He is, and we are not. He can, and we cannot.
  2. WE do everything by living Christ and by enjoying Him as grace.
  3. We cannot be independent, and we do everything in the fellowship of the body.
  4. We stay within our measure in the body, seeking proper growth in the body.
