• Christ and Church Life and Building Spirit and Bride

As a lover of Christ and a pursuer of truth, I write down my joys, memories and reflections.

May God lead us all into the secret of His presence, and build us into the oneness of His body in love.

Some wonderings

Before starting, I must emphasize that I fully believe in God and the Bible in its entirety with no reservation or doubt. The following questions are just my wonderings with some of which I may have answers but not with complete or satisfactory ones.

  1. If all human beings are sinful and fallen, is there any other ground for us to judge others, even their sinful deeds or intentions?
  2. If we should look away onto Jesus, what other thing can we really care about?
  3. If the Lord would listen to our prayer because of our shameless persistence (Luke 11:8), is such granting of prayer be  possibly against His will?
  4. If we need to continuously empty ourselves, what is the value of possessing any persistent memory or concept?
  5. Just as God respects our free will, we shall respect others’. If  so, what is the ground for discipline upon others?
  6. If we should always submit and obey to His leadings, what is the value of ever setting our minds to do anything?
  7. If our prayers remain unanswered, what is the cut-off line between unyielding hope and submission to His refusal?
  8. If we can never please God by our flesh, is there any value in acting godly?
  9. Is it better to act godly by the flesh than behaving sinfully?
  10. If no good dwells in my flesh and working out the good is not present with me, should I just give up trying?
  11. If we should serve by His grace, is service in our flesh better than no service at all?
