• Christ and Church Life and Building Spirit and Bride

As a lover of Christ and a pursuer of truth, I write down my joys, memories and reflections.

May God lead us all into the secret of His presence, and build us into the oneness of His body in love.

The church as the body of Christ- the mysterious and divine organism

Biologically speaking a living organism has at least the following characteristics:

  1. Respond to stimuli
  2. Reproduce
  3. Grow and develop
  4. Maintain homeostasis
  5. Adapt

Petrologically speaking, Metamorphism, which means “change in form,” is the transformation of existing rocks due to changes in conditions, primarily heat, pressure, or the exposure to chemically active fluids.

Biologically speaking, Metamorphosis is a biological process by which an animal physically develops after birth or hatching, involving a conspicuous and relatively abrupt change in the animal’s body structure through cell growth and differentiation.

Divinely and mysteriously speaking, the church is not an organization but an organism produced by God by possessing the following characteristics:

  1. The structure of this divine organism
    • The union of divinity and humanity
  2. The metamorphic change of this divine organism
    • The mingling of God and man
    • The putting off of the the old man, and putting on of the new man
    • Through the renewing of the believers in the spirit of their mind
    • Through the redemption by the saturation of the Holy Spirit as the seal
    • Through the nourishing, sanctifying, and washing of Christ’s word of life
  3. The growth and building up of this divine organism are in the divine life
    • The gifted ones duplicate themselves by perfect others to be like them.
  4. The living of this divine organism is the corporate living of the body of Christ
    • All members live together
    • All member care for one another
  5. The service of this divine organism is the corporate service of the body of Christ
    • Every member is necessary
    • Every member functions according to the measure of each one part
    • Preach the gospel, nourish the believers, perfect the saints, prophesy, labor to present every saint full-grown in Christ
